07 Roush seat problem!

I noticed right after we got our car that small white foam pieces begin to fall out of the bottom of the drivers side seat;door side of the drivers side seat, by where the seat mounts to the floor pan. I didn't think much of it but every time I cleaned out the car which was about twice a month, there would be more small white pieces of foam.
This weekend, I got to noticing that there is a fist size indentation in the seat bolster ,on the front of the drivers seat. Has anyone else had this problem with there Roush seats???? I haven't seen any signs of any ants or any other varmints in the car!!!

Sorry to hear that...looks like you better get it looked at, hope it is a warranty thing for you.

Could it be Foamites? Very much like to nest in foam of all kinds! Hard to get rid of...spray trhe area with a foamacide.

I had this exact same issue with my 2001 Roush seats. The problem is that the Roush foam is slightly different than the factory Ford foam. It rubs against the seat frames inside and slowly degrades. I got to vacuuming my little bits up at least once a week with a dust buster, and the same indentation occured.

I am not sure there is a fix. The larger bolsters on the same framework just wear differently than Ford designed the seat frames for IMO.

07 Roush seat problem!

Our only Roush dealer in Oklahoma is in Tulsa, about 60 miles away and I hate to take my car up and leave it a the dealership for several days before I know that Roush is going to send a new set of seat foam,to fix the car!
It will burn my A-s if I drive it up to Tulsa and they jack me around. You guys think I need to take the old (AK) with me to "ENFORCE" the warranty!!! LOL!!!
You guys know how some of the Mech. like to "Test drive" the car from the garage to the holding lot, at the dealership!!!

I like that smilie face holding an AK!!! That says it all!!!!

well i would think that the dealer could open a repair order for you and only need your car when the new padding comes in. just give them a call. if they say no, just call ROUSH and maybe they will just send some to the dealer for you.

Kudo's to ROUSH!!!!

I talked to Roush & our local Ford Dealer Service manager (Willie Keifer) here in Muskogee yesterday and we will be getting our 427R Vert fixed here in town instead of having to drive it to Tulsa (Joe Cooper Ford ) where we bought the car. Darrick at Roush said that any Ford dealer could work on our car, doing Roush Service, if they would! That will save putting 200 miles on the car just to get it fixed!

Again, MANY KUDOS to ROUSH!!!!!
