Most performance tires have an agressive tread on them and are usually on the noisy side. Read the reviews on performance tires on sites like tirerack.com and you'll see most of them are rated noisy. Either get an exhaust system that is louder than the tires or find a Buick LaSabre.

I didn't think about the radio....good call......but not a great call........loud exhaust is way betta!

Now are you sure its tire noise and not rear end noise? I think there was a TSB out for rear end noise, I'll let the 05-09 crowd speak up on that issue.

Ok I found out its not the tires. I took the car to a front end shop and the alignment was so far out the tires were trying to push in against one another. Got the front end straight now the noise is gone. There is still a bit from the wear pattern from the misalignment but much better.

    That was an easy fix.

Kinda hard to get a good wear pattern, when you can't rotate the tires.
