Interesting part to this new uttered comment is that Tony is on PROBATION... might be interesting. Good race to watch but the roush boys sure struggeled

and also, WTF was NASCAR thinking of opening pit road while the #8 was coasting on pit road and then stopped? Very poor decision on their part but all of the drivers handled it well.

Yeah that was almost a big mess, several cars almost plowed right into him and what Tony should know better, he's a good driver but for BS like this is why I don't care for him

STEWART FINED, PENALIZED FOR USING INAPPROPRIATE LANGUAGE
DURING POST-RACE INDIANAPOLIS INTERVIEW

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (July 31, 2007) – NASCAR announced today that Tony Stewart has been fined $25,000 and penalized 25 NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series driver championship points, as a result of using inappropriate language during a post-race televised interview following his victory Sunday at Indianapolis Motor Speedway
Stewart, driver of the No. 20 Chevrolet, retains his fifth-place standing in the series points, with his total points reduced to 2,599.
Stewart violated Section 12-4-A of the series rule book (actions detrimental to stock car racing) by using the inappropriate language.
In addition, Stewart’s car owner, Joe Gibbs, has been penalized 25 car owner championship points because of the infraction.

Maybe NASCAR needs to start sanctioning the local go-cart tracks so they can be the "dirty word monitors" and then the kids will be properly trained by time they reach NASCAR...
