Anybody else going to the Craftsman truck race at LVMS?

My wife and I are going to the Smith's Las Vegas 350 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series.

We bought tickets in the Dale Earnhardt terrace. Anybody else planning on going?

It isn't listed as an event on the Roush web site. Does that mean that Jack won't be there?

I might be going... haven't really thought about it. I am not much of a fan of going to the races... too many drunk idiots and all that.

Nextel Cup should be racing somewhere else that weekend. Jack would be at the cup race.

Hadn't thought about the Nextel cup race. You are right - he will be at DIS: http://www.nascar.com/races/cup/2005/28/index.html

My wife is from Scotland and has never had a Nascar experience. We will do this race and The Daimler Chrysler next year and she if she becomes a fan.

A lady I work with turns out to be mark martins cousin. According to her they used to play together as kids. Needless to say she and her husband get free tickets to many races. Just the other day she asked me if I wanted the tickets to the truck race as they cant go. Unfortunately I cant go either. I have a feeling they are great tickets too. I told her I couldnt go but a friend in that area would love to have them, but she kinda balked at that but I will bug her again about the tics
