Edwards, Biffle make Roush #1 #2 at Dover

Carl took the checkered flag with Greg close behind....

If Matt hadn't lost his engine, I'm betting it would have been a Roush 1 2 3

Stinks really bad for Matt, but congrats for Carl and Greg and Roush for a strong COT race.

I wonder what is going to happen. The article makes it sound like they might pull Carl's win from him.

That would be a bummer for Edwards to lose his win. Doesn't make it right but just think how many others are just as guilty and aren't being scrutinized Like they say, that's just racing!

The last report I read, said that it would probably not be treated as tampering with the car....Nascar has taken the car to their R & D lab to give it the going over. Carl said that Greg gave him a couple of pretty stout congratulatory taps in the rear after the race and they think that it might have bent something in the rear of the car. The report says that at this time, they don't anticipate Nascar taking away the win....but it's still possible that they might take away some points, if they don't find that the rear of the car is bent somewhere.

I watched the bumps at the end of the race and I think it could be the reason for Carl's car failing for rear of car to low. When you bump at low speed the bumping car rises(from accereration) front end up and comes down as it hits the car ahead this is what I think bent Carl's rear of his car down. These COT cars are so set before race with rules that there is very limited movement(adjusting car during race).I really think no Foul play here.
CONGRATS CARL AND KEEP IT GOING!!!!
