Carl vs Matt?

What is going on with these 2? First there was the sarcatic applause from Carl to Matt a couple weeks ago and now today (they just showed the footage on Nascar Victory Lane) they were shoving a little. Jack needs to sit em down and straighten em out!!! Ill try to fnd a link to the video if its out there yet.

Ok- that did look a little different when you see it from the begining.. I'll watch it on the replay show tomorrow morning at 6:00am.... It will be interesting to see if they talk about it on "Inside Nextel Cup" Monday night...

Yeah cuz Carl seemed to be trying to play it off by smiling through the whole thing but Matt's reaction didnt look too enjoyable. Did he not realize that the Speed Channel camera was RIGHT THERE??? Geez

A little competition between teammates is healthy...isn't it? Carl should probably act w/ a little more class though; be professional.

Of course it is...keeps you on your toes. But it should stay on the track and should stay professional...and not personal and not to the point of getting physical either. And its short track racing...thats the way the ball bounces.

who knew there was such poor communication between the teamates at roush fenway racing... I m truley broken up about all of this... I didnt know... I dont have much respect of Biffle running his mouth on INC on monday night... I ll write more later... I m still trying to take this all in... all though I dont think they way Carl handeled it was right... I do think it was good for him to stick up for him self... no body flew off the handle when harvick started pushing montoya around... whats the big deal... seems there is alot of jealousy and piss poor communication amongst the roush team... I m at work now... and have lots of thought about it... i ll write my whole opinion about it later...

agreed.... they dont need to be best buds... but they do need to work together... the 99 called over to the 17 during the race... i listened to it personaly on fan scan... he appologized to matt for running into him and right after than matt plowed into the rear of him causing him to lose three spots... matt and greg are best buds... read the article on nascar.com for more imput... i dont agree with the whole article but parts of it are quite good!

yea they talked about it on inc... and I personally think that waltrip needs to worry more about making the 55 go faster than saying how embarassed the Roush orginazation is and should be... so heres my big shout out...FU Waltrip shut your yap!

Matt said that Carl has been acting a bit strange lately....nice one day, pissed off the next. Carl has apologized and has said that he needs to work on his attitude, to make all the Roush teams better teammates. I suspect the Chase has something to do with Carl's attitude.....he needs to get some perspective and priorities straightened out....his teammates are not his enemies.

I think Carl was right to apologize. When he threw that swing at Matt it looked like Matt took it for real from the way he flinched. Carl tried to play it off by smiling but I think it made him look like a menacing bully. One face for Matt and another for the public; split personality. Jack needs to yank a knot in his tail and set him straight.

Matt basically said that Carl is not who he appears to be - puts on a front for his fans. After reading Matt's side of the story this incident was definitely not two drivers just goofing around. Matt made it pretty clear, IMHO, that he just flat out doesn't care for Carl and that he really believes Carl has some problems... I really don't care if they work it out or not. No way you can make someone like someone else. Respect? Nope can't force that either. Gotta be earned. Could make for an interesting off-season!

Yeah I noticed a side of Carl that raised my eyebrows in Michigan. He did not seem to be as down to earth and fan friendly as I had expected. But he coulda just been having a bad day...but now im not so sure. What happened on the track should stay on the track...so he lost a couple of positions...happens all the time and definitely on the short tracks. I think the 99 (and I really hate saying this..cuz i dont want it to be true) but I believe that he is maybe getting a little too big for his britches. Maybe a nice reality check will put him back in his place.
