Roush penalty VS Hendrick penalty...

Carl and Roush got a 25 point penalty for having one side of the rear of his car too low. Roush appeals and Nascar's racing commission upholds the penalty, even though they admitted that it did not improve the cars performance and probably even hindered it. Kyle Bush and Hendrick get a penalty for having an illegal intake. Hendrick appeals the penalty and Nascar's racing commission overturns the penalty....saying in essence, that since they don't have a way to measure the polished area of the intake, that it's really only a visual inspection that is subjective in nature....no harm, no foul on Hendrick's part.

Sure wish there was a little more consistancy, parity with Nascar. I mean, if you're going to favor someone, be a little more discreet and cover it up a little better....this seems pretty blatant to me.

In my opinion Nascar has always had a little biase in it. I mean they can make a ruling which puts you at the back of the pack and then after the race say they are sorry.

I know it's not as bad now, but I can remember a few years back when they started the "trying to finish green" thing. Some races they would hold that up and other times they would let it finish under yellow. No consistancy.

Could be changing my friend...could be changing.

They are going through some staff shakeups and major changes from the bottom all the way up the ladder.
