Awesome start to the Sprint Cup season. Great to see Dale Jr back in Victory Lane and can't wait to see him in it again on Sunday in the 500!!!

I kind of felt the same way about it,but I do hope he has a good year and shows that stepmother of his what she lost.

amen brother, not a big NASCAR fan but that woman disrupting the family legacy for her own greed really burns my ass. I hope he sticks it to DEI and Teresa every friggin race this year.

I feel that they took the drivers, the car #'s, and the sponcers.Put them in a cup and roled them out like dice and played them as they lay.

they can do away with talladega and daytona anytime and make the drivers race again at so many other tracks.

As some of you know i am a big Junior fan(come on Budweiser)but he always does good in Daytona. If he does better in other races or wins other races then i will get excited, and say it is because of HMS cars and equipment.I just hope he does well and sticks it to his step mom and some day gets to take over DEI.Was the race fixed, dont think so.

I was happy for Jr too. He really needed this win for a confidence builder.

Yeah, it was good to see Jr. win the first one out of the gate. I hope he knocks a couple more down early in the season. I will have to say that it was a bit weird to see Jr. being followed and helped by Johnson and Gordon as team mates. It just seemed so wrong. I guess we will have to get used to it...

Jay he only one for 2 reasons.
1. He was driving a hendricks car.
2. Jimmy pushed him to the front cause he couldn't keep up with Tony. hehe

I agree JJ helped him win, but let's not forget he DOMINATED the whole race, leading 47 of 70 laps! His win was no fluke, the boy can drive and now he has the equipment to allow him to drive AND win instead of blow-up with 5 to go.

I agree, its not just the help that got the win that guy(Dale Jr.) can drive. There is alot more to Dale Jr. then we know. But you could clearly see he has some of his Dad's knowledge and remembers how to put it to his driving. Now if the cars can hold up to him we will see him win alot.Mark Martin has that knowledge as well but he doesn't drive as hard as I know he can.
I would like to see some speed out of the Roush Teams.I know they can handle well. But the engine dept. needs to put some power down and go abit more on the engine limits. They will find the power at Roush they allways do.

I will never get used to it.. I refuse.. its just wrong, if anyone, it should have been RCR at the least...

Whole deal reminds me of a story about a friend who french kissed his mother

regardless I am glad for him and at the very least.. it isnt the gordon/johnson love fest...........

Jr always runs good at super speedways, I'll wait till after the first five races to see where he stands but that did keep me from buying some of his gear

Don't worry, they will all be following the "Pied Pipper" to the check for the "Hat Trick"...

Yeah in my opinion Crew Chief Tony Jr. or the radio problem or whatever the reason why he stayed out when everyone else pitted towards the end just fn'killed him...But it wasn't bad to see NEWMAN win

It was good to see Newman win!

It was equally as good to see Stewart and Busch NOT win! I really don't have anything against Toyota or Hamlin, but I'm just not a fan of either Stewart or "The Shrub".
