Tough weekend at Route66 for the Drag Team

My father works with the Bowles team so I joined them at Joliet for NMRA/NMCA shootout.
The Yellow car of Don's was sporting its new NASCAR 358cid putting down about 850hp. Working out the bugs on its first time out with a 9.54 and unfortunately out in the first round.
The white car of Donnies made it to round two but the clutch slipped off the line so it ran about a tenth off at 10.02
Dale and BIG THUNDER had an extremely rare red light on the first round that put the Falcon in the trailer early.
Finally, Susan broke out in the second round by .02 to send her to the trailer early as well.

Rough weekend all around with lots of rain delays but with no Cup event, we were fontunate to have Jack there all weekend
