I think it was a diabolical plot by Hendrick to have Jimmy Johnson race the Biff hard so Martin could win.......Well, maybe not.

Mark has ran out of gas before in other races, but he also knows how to save gas. I think Mark knew this as well as his crew chief.
Way to go Mark & his Team!!!

Mark ran out of gas in this one too. Just not as early as the other two. He ran out just out of turn 4. Mark is one cool customer...

Actually Mark is known for grabbing a grinder and jummping under a car and grinding away any excess metal to save weight.
If you ask him about it he will laugh and say "Yeah I remember those days."
I asked him about that at the California speedway when it just opened the new track (Mark ran out of gas on the backside and Jeff Gordon won, all on the last lap). I think it was 1996 or 97 can't remember which year.

The Biff had it won, until the stupid 48 made a charge that he knew he could'nt finish!

Is the sky blue or just the absence of all other colors?

If the Biff could have kept his foot out of it for a couple more laps, it might have just fell his way. Next time...

I'm actually not so thrilled with Mark these days. Every time they interview him, he talks about how he finally has the best equipment and team...as if Roush didn't provide him with good cars If I recall, he had some great years and lots of wins with Jack but he sure doen't act like it. Just my opinion
