2004+ ROUSHCharger 101

We finally got the F-150 supercharger checked out and written up. Here is the info. Obviously, we are looking to hear realtime data from owners to build on this archive!

Can you do me a favor Shay. I've heard mixed information regarding the actual blower in this kit. According to the S/C manufacturer's specs, a M90 is not "sufficient" displacement for the 5.4, and that therefore this blower should be a M112. Is there any way we could find out for sure which basic generation blower this is, or are you sure it's a M90?

That is a good thing to clarify.

I was told that the M90 used by Roush is a more capable unit than the standard m90. The part numbers between the 2001-2004 Mustang Stage 3 and the 2004+ F-150 unit are virtualy identical with one expection, I presumed to be the housing.

I will look into it and the correction shall be made if necessary.

Goog catch.

Not a problem, been something I've been trying to clarify on my own for quite some time. The size of the unit sure looks like a M90, but the flow characteristics of the M90 just don't even seem to be suitable for anything over 5.0L, at least the spec's I've seen. And I've heard both, that it's a M90 and that it's a M112...I have always leaned towards it being a M90 though. Thanks for looking into that...

You are correct DS, and a correction has been made in the website text. RPP confirmed that the compressor used on the F-150 ROUSHCharger system is indeed a Roush version of the M112 Magnussen/Easton blower.
