I cant get a accurate dyno because of the governer. I took it into a dyno shop about 3 months ago. My truck shut off at 300rwhp and like 330rwtq(somewhere around there). Note that this is at 6000ft where i live. But I'm thinking thats about where i should be even if the governer was off due to elevation loss and whatnot.
I'm hoping to get it up around 400rwhp 450rwtq after intercooler and diablo chip + custom tune. |

Yeah, I saw numbers of a guy who did on f150online...he was running a Bama Chips tuned XCal2 though on it, 340rwhp, 370rwtq I think. I'll find out exact ones later, next time I see a post by him.
Found it, here's his dyno graph, numbers in his sig 345rwhp, 365rwtq. Linkage Last edited by DevilSun : 03-10-2006 at 08:01 AM. |

Hey, that's me!!!!! I was searching around about the intercooler and stumbled on this. I have no speed limiter so I can do accurate dyno runs. The BamaChips tune did not modify the Roush tune except for the transmission shift points, because the Roush tune is damn near perfect. I have recently installed a wideband O2 sensor and it maintains 11.0-11.5 A/F ratio all the way to shift in every gear. I also just emailed Roush about the intercooler kit to get some more info on it. I read a news release from 2-24-05 about the release of the stage 3 truck and it said that truck had an intercooler on it and that was over a year ago! Why can't we get this thing??? We NEED it badly. My charge air temps were around 175 degrees the other day at the track at the bottom of the run which is way too high for me!

with the kit assembled on a stock truck... no mods at all... it typically produces between 300 and 330 whp. The wide range is because of the wide range of options available on the trucks, i.e. 4x2, 4x4, tires, wheel, etc.

And in respect to the other ??s in the post,
I hear that the intercooled kit can now be ordered, but I have heard no real date for an "update to intercooled kit" for current kit owners. I keep hearing it will be release though. |

I emailed Roush last night about this to see what they have to say. Hopefully I will get some positive response and not some top secret, mission impossible, mumbo-jumbo. I REALLY need that kit, these hot days have set in these last few weeks and I can really feel the power loss from that hot air. It doesn't even seem to make quite as much boost according to the gauge, it is down by about 1psi from normal. Thanks for the complements! I need to get some updated pics, I have added the side Roush F-150 badges to scare some imports
