Question Roush Lighting??

I ran into a guy at the gas station this morning that was driving what looked to be a Roush Lighting truck. I'm not up to speed on Roush trucks so I wasn't to sure what to look for. There was no SN in the door jams.

The story he gave me is he bought it from the owner of Friendly Ford here in Vegas which is a Roush dealer. It was very well done and a super clean ride.

I know Roush has done Cobra's in the past so why wouldn't they do a Lighting??

So if you have any info please post it up.

I know some lightning owners have put the ROush suspension on and some of the Roush Body kit. But as far as Roush modifying a lightning maybe....

Yeah that's why I was asking. He said he bought it from the owner of Friendly Ford which is a Roush dealer, so I was thinking it was some type of conversion. It was a very clean ride either way.

All the Lighting badges were replaced with Roush badges. I thought it was a Roush truck in till he popped the hood open and it had a S/C 5.4 with a 112 Eaton sitting in there. That's when I asked him if it was a Lighting and he said yes, and that Roush had done all the Roush upgrades to it. I'm thinking that yes it was all upgraded to Roush specs but I'm sure it was done at the dealer here in town and not built that way from Roush plant. Like I said it was a super clean truck!

what color was it?

If he has no documentation on it then he did all the Roush work himself. If Roush worked with a Lightning, one of us would know about it

Roush did not produce any lightnings. They do make the add-ons,but that is it.

Dealerships are authorized/warranted to install ROUSH parts that they buy direct. It is standard for ROUSH to install the SN badge on the passenger side door jamb of their installs. Unless it has a sticker, you can pretty much guarantee it was a dealer/individual install.
