suspension mods

Since it's too cold to work on the car, yes, I'm a candy fanny . I thought I might as well buy my suspension mods and get them all in line for the spring. I installed the FRPP shocks, struts and springs last summer. Here's what I have waiting to install. I have to make sure she stays glued to the road when I get my Whipple installed, should be in about 2 weeks.

BMR lca's, fixed, poly bushings both ends, red:

BMR lca relocation brackets, black:

BMR adjustable panhard rod, poly bushings both ends, red:

Yes, I love the toys too.

I will follow up with pics and a write up. The only thing I am not going to do myself are the sfc's, they have to be welded in.

Looks like you and I are going similar routes..however..

1) I see no adjustment in your control arms...how are you planning on fixing pinion angle since you are lowered????

2) Our cars already have a large amount of understeer...I would suggest leaving off the front sway bar and just installing the rear...

http://www.mustangforums.com/m_1696246/tm.htm - 5th post down, but the whole thread is good

http://www.mustangforums.com/m_2184423/tm.htm - lots of info in thise thread

Just some thoughts that you may want to consider...However, if it is already in boxes in the garage, you could always just install it and see if you need any adjustments and swap stuff later....

I saw that article earlier, excellent stuff.

Yep, I have all the parts already, so I'll just throw it on anyways.

BTW-the first I'm going to do is paint that nasty looking differential and the other bare metal under there!

Not a good idea at all. Body roll would be excessive and it is likely you would end up with more understeer instead of less due to losing to much camber up front. If you still have understeer you would be better off with a stiffer rear stabar or slightly softer front stabar.

Unless you are referring to keeping the front stabar stock size and only increasing the rear bar?

That's what I think he meant.

I was totally meaning to just leave the STOCK front swaybar on and not upgrading it and only upgrading the rear....I guess I should have been more specific...listen to what I mean NOT what I say

Yup, I get ya now. It's just that some folks are leaving off the front stabar entirely now when going with the BMR K-member and radiator support. Might be fine for the drag strip but would totally suck if you wanted to do open track or an autocross.

best rear suspension on the market IMO is either the Metco or BBR. Both are very strong and have minimal noise. Both have been track tested with road course as well as drag racing. WOW is the only way I can discribe them.
