Question Clutch recommendations

Has anyone changed out their clutch? If so, what have you gone with and are you happy with it?

Since adding the Whipple I want to upgrade to an aluminum flywheel and clutch assembly.

As always, thanks for your input.

Check out the custom designed Kevlar clutch from Apex...Matt (Roush2960) loves his! Really holds well on the blown cars but not bad to shift.

First Ford I have owned in years. Do all of your clutches engage at the top?

MRT called Donny and he recommended the Ram Powergrip. How do you like the McLeod?

I love it! Pedal feel is about the same as stock, but maybe a little more. Hasn't slipped yet! Donny is a smart guy when it comes down to which ones to use. For my powerout put we went with the McLeod. You may need something bigger/stronger with those numbers from the Whipple!

Had a Spec 1 clutch installed in my Bullitt and it was a piece of junk and Spec did not support it. After only 3000 miles, it had to be replaced AND it took out my flywheel. Spec blamed my installer who is a good friend of mine who owns a trans shop and I know the job was done right.
