Question upgrading coil packs

Has anyone upgraded their factory coil packs? If so, was it worth it? Did you really get an improvement from it?

I have seen the Accell kit go for $184 and the GPS kits go for $250 and $500 for the two kits they offer.

I have thought about it but heard it wasn't worth it until you go big.

With a mod like that, it seems to be a fix for a problem with spark more then a mod to gain power. Kinda of like fuel pump upgrades. You have enough, till you go so big it can't keep up.

Buying new coils is a big waste of money unless yours are bad. Coils will make you zero HP. The COP you have stock has more than enough energy to ignite your fuel. If you have problems with spark blowout with high boost go to a different spark plug and decrease your air gap.

I had them on my Stg2....I thought they did some good! Not worth running out and buying them. But if you get the chance or get them for a good deal I think it is worth it for the extra MPG and the engine does run a ton smoother!

I put them on my Adrenalin when I got rid of the Stg2!!!
