How well do your front fenders match the alignment of your doors?

While washing my car today I noticed that the fenders are not in alignment with the front edge of the doors. There are some areas where the door edge and the fender edge are almost an 1/16" of an inch out of line. I am not talking about the vertical gap that runs between them. This is the alignment as you look down the side of the car from the front to the back and the back to the front. Must have been built on a Monday after a long holiday weekend.

Anybody else notice this on their cars?

Any reason why a good body shop can't sort this out?
