Fords big boost kit

Sure wish we could get the Big Boost kit for a Roush:

From Fords parts catalog:

2007 MUSTANG 4.6L
BIG BOOST KIT
M-9066-M117
Big Boost kit converts M-6066-M463V7/M463P7 from 400 hp to
500 hp
Fits 2007 Mustang GT with MANUAL transmission ONLY.
See www.fordracingparts.com for 2008 manual
transmission applications
Produces 500 hp at 5800 rpm with 93 octane at approximately
11psi of boost!
Kit includes intercooling system, M-9407-GT05 fuel pump kit
and smaller pulley
DUE TO MULTIPLE CALIBRATIONS, ONLINE REGISTRATION IS
REQUIRED TO RECEIVE PRO-CAL TOOL AFTER PURCHASE
Includes Pro-Cal voucher with official Ford Racing calibration
E.O. #D-231-24
Engine calibrations are developed and supported for U.S. and
Canadian vehicles only

begs a question: If ford will sell a 500 hp kit for a stock bottom end 4.6 and still give a warranty???????

Why can't Roush??

11psi on a stock bottom end is not going to make for a very happy guy. From all the research I have done on this, anything more than about 9psi is asking for trouble. JMO

Why would Ford sell this then? This is an add on kit for there 400hp SC kit. Link to catalong, then look at page 39, one would think Ford knows what is safe, right??

Ford knows how to get people in for replacement parts and service dollars once everything blows up!

It does say it voids the warranty

Where did it say voids your warranty? I must have missed that.

Only the 400HP kit has a warranty.. NOT the 500HP kit.
