JBA longtubes are on

MRT completed the install of the JBA longtubes and their custom made catted stainless h-pipe. I went over at today at lunch to hear it, it sounds wicked!! The longtubes really gave a much deeper tone and it is noticably louder than before (BBK shorties and MRT catted h-pipe). They said the longtubes are easier to install than the equal length shorties, since all the tubes go right down instead of snaking around. While they were at it, I had them install some urethane motor mount bushings.

As always, here's some pics.

Thanks Mike.

Yes, I have someone lined up for it already though. I would highly recommend the MRT catted h-pipe.

Looking good! Did you notice more low end torque after the install?

I don't know if it was from the headers, or the fact I haven't driven her in 5 months, but yea, it felt like it. I am going to take her to the dyno soon and I'll be able to compare it to the dyno pulls I did last year.

Wow, that looks factory but better (minus the clamps needing tweaking). I wish they made longtubes for me

Walsh Motor Sports in Wixom, also houses D&D transmission. I don't know when, I have to wait probably a couple weeks. I'll let you know if you're interested in going there too.

Thanks, MRT does awesome work! Yea, I noticed the clamps too. They had to be installed that way because of the frame. They couldn't be pointing down or to the sides or they would have hit the frame or the floorboards.
