Misfire and CEL issues

My 07 has started to have CEL misfires showing up, power is robbed w cylinders down. Only 4000 miles on this car. Took the car to the dealer, they replace the plug in Cyl 08, and after 20 miles, back again.

In checking out threads on other sites, this appears to be a wide spread problem. Anyone else had to deal with it and what is the cure?

I had a miss with 1450 miles. Dealer checked everything and ended up changing all the plugs. As with yours, the miss came back the day after I picked it up. This time they had it three weeks. They could not identify any problem. Finally, Roush sent a new pcm. Haven't had a problem since, about 350 miles since I picked it up. Keeping my fingers crossed

Plug shorting due to damage (improper installation/shipping damage causing a crack) or additive fouling have been a commonly discovered issue with these special 3v plugs in supercharged use.

Using well checked plugs at a reduced gap with clean gasoline is a solution.
