    Cool RE: REQ: Roush Cougar

A'ight y'all. Due to popular request, I will be uploading pictures of the Roush Cougar for your viewing pleasure. First, here's a look at the kitty before Roush gets a hold of her.

When she's returned from Roush, she gets a new set of wheels, a body kit, an exhaust tip, lowering springs, and a rear anti-sway bar.

And here's a less-than-perfect shot of the rear after I shaved the badges, added tailight covers, and a dual exhaust.

Unfortunately, the Eaton supercharger used by Roush on the Eliminator concept never made it to production.

Looks good. Anything done to the interior?

Thanks for looking! Nothing has been done to the interior, yet. I almost bought racing seats, but backed out when I read about an issue with the quality of the product. So I'm still looking in that regard. I thought about a brushed aluminum dash kit, but I believe the results will be better if I paint the dash silver, then use chrome accents (i.e. shift knob, e-brake). I also have been deliberating about what to do with the trunk. Diamond plate? Since I want the cargo room, I am placing my sub in one corner and the amp in the other. It's looking like the interior will be my spring project.

Man, my first thought was how FNSweet that would look with a dual exhaust. Then I scroll down and I was right! That looks FNSweeeeet!!!!

    Update

Well, wouldn't you know it, but two years after getting the body kit installed and painted, I am visited by the hit-and-run fairy:

Replacement parts from Roush weren't available, so I decided to pocket the insurance money, and instead made plans to boost my Roush to the next level:

Last summer, everything fell into place:

Now I just need to get this thing re-inspected and I'm back in business. Wish me luck!

That thing is a sleeper, nice ride, you dont see cougars that often especially looking like that.
