Early yellow .... Bilsteins? ... Again, standardization wasn't the strong suit of ROUSH in the early days.
The last line of 1st GEN SN95s got more standard .... than most 99-01s.
When in doubt, ask or search the model year forum.

passenger door jam.
dash plaque
and roush-bilstein yellow shocks and struts.
My car is a 99 and the only way to distinguish it as a roush was the door jamb. build #3115 is mine check and see if it's similar number because I'm sure there aren't too many 99's out there.
thing that sucks is my car was hit on the 1/4 panel so my door jamb plaque is sitting on the shelf of my room since they had to cut the 1/4 panel off...
N/A 4.6 - 388rwhp/385rwtq
I also have the roush tool box on the lid of the trunk
I have only had my 99 stage one convertible a short time.
I seem to have a similar problem. I just bought a 1999 Roush Cobra. It has the tool kit with coin (vin stamped in it) badges seem to be in the right spots. Yellow struts etc. The Roush sticker has peeled off the passenger door although I know it was there I cant make it out. I have run the VIN and called Roush but still cant figure our the build number. Does anyone have any other suggestions on how I can find it out?
Here are some pics of the car I recently purchased. Roush and the VIN search can tell me if its legit. Hopefully some pictures will help.

I cant find much info on the coin either? It has the VIN stamped in it. Do all Roush cars have this or is it just something that was easy to get?

No. In the early days when you got your Roush they included a form and a paddded envelope to mail your coin to them to get engraved. A lot of people had their Roush serial number engraved in it.
Tool box is the right style for those years. Decal on trunk is what i have seen them do before. What do your floor mats look like? Any stickers at all on the door jams (not door). Look closely under the hoods for any roush identification stickers. If you get a chance try looking on the ECU. I would say it is good chances that it is the real deal.
Where do you live.... Looks a lot like this one...

That cobra is sexy BTW
They look very close.... wonder if someone modded after owning it by adding more Roush parts.
Edit.... got that backwards, someone would have had to take Roush parts off. My bad.

2000 Roush #5004 - World's FIRST M112'd V6 Mustang - Sold, but not forgotten.
I live in Ontario, Canada. My car is originally from Michigan. (I think). Here's the pics of the mats and the door pillar label on the right side of the car. Unfortunately I cant read anything on it. I have searched for any other markings with no success. Do you know where the ecu is located on the car? I'll take a look at that next.
is there a Modified By Roush Industries sticker on the drivers door jam? it's near the bottom or was on my 03'
