    New Rims and tires on!

I posted a few weeks back about possibly buying a set of the staggard new style chrome rims from a guy in Texas, well I went through with it. The rims are in perfect condition, not a scratch, pit, peel, or flake anywhere on them. The tires were brand new too (BFG 295 rear, 265 front) I thought it was a good deal for $1300. I was mostly glad I wouldn't have to put air in my old Roush chrome wheels every other day because of the aweful chrome pitting and peeling on the inside of the rims.

2 Questions: Does anyone run a 25mm spacer with the new style rims? I know you have to trim the wheel studs so I'd like to know what it looks like before I do it.

Is there any type of polish or protective compound that would help keep/slow the process of these chromies from peeling/flaking over time?

    Thanks

Looks great, I love mine. My car is garaged and only driven a few thousand miles a year so I just polish and put a coat of wax on mine. Nice look!

you do not need to trim the studs to run spacers with 99-04 style wheels. not sure what the backside looks like on newer ones
