    Brake Install

Here are pics from the front bake install i just did

    Look before the install

removed brake line brackets. New one in kit
I also put a clear hose over brake line to drip in pail. brake fluid will eat the paint off the sudpension parts

    removed rotor and caliper aseembly

bolts that held stock caliper on used again on new one

    removed stock backing plate

here are the stock and new rotors quite a difference in size

here are the stock and new calipers comparison

    Here's the caliper adapter bracket

Attached the new bracket using the stock bolts

    Then installed new rotor

I pre insatlled the braket that holds the new braided brake line before attaching bracket. Easier then when on the car.

New banjo bolt with copperwashers 1 for each side of brakeline
    then intalled new caliper

    [/IMG]
new brake line has a bend to it goes inwards

Thread stock brake line into new hose before attching bracket. Less likely to crossthread doing it first Then installed new hose bracket

Had to rebend brake line a bit to fit in the stock clips

Bled brakes using a clear hose with a check valve so you can do it by yourself. Also keeps the fluid from spaying all over Notice you have to bleed both sides. 2 pistons on each side of caliper

    job done

    Here the new look!!!

I am way to impatient to take photos during an install. and the GF is never to be seen.

I guess I should find a friend here in Vegas that likes cars.

Great job for sure. Is there a How To here on FNSweet? Looks like we have our candidate to start it up.

I am down to meet up for sure. What you got going on this Sunday. I have an event on Saturday so that is pretty much out.

I am also working on getting some guys from work to hit up fast laps. I need some people that can keep up. Not just get pissed when I pass 'em. I know that at least SS lives here as well.

Where is the best/Cheapest place to find that Roush kit!?

I have ordered the Baer kit in the past adn it is still on Backorde.....so I am thinking of cancleing the order and going with ROUSH brakes. Which is what I should have done in the first place

You should go with the ROush kit. The Roush kit will get you better braking with better calipers. Plus you get Roush stuff.
