New problem with RPP product.

Well X-mas passed and tonght I was showing Mario and His buddy One of the New Roush Products. The Vavle Cover Plates and they will not fit on a 2K 4.6L motor??? , I am wondering if the 01 + motors are diffrent? because the 2K and lower are not this diffrent? I will post Pic's in the morning after I take them in day light. But I hope someone at RPP is reading this tonoght before I call tomorrow...This is #3 in the problems with RPP product ??

Is it the oil cap placement? I think in 2001 they switch it to the passanger side. I know there was some other wierd crap too that happenned to the valve covers.

2000 does seem to kinda be a freak year for Roush, especially those built in early 2000.

From what I have noticed the following seeem to vary somewhat:

Pedal logos

Tool kit contents

Spoiler style

Floor mat logos

CAI...option/unavailable option

Roush rear decal...some on back window, some on rear "flat black" valence

Just some I have noticed, there are probably more. It would be interesting to see what else is noted among 2000 Roush owners.

I think what happened in 2000 was that Roush was transitioning from a semi-specialty car to a semi-tuner car, with an eye on the future S3. I think they were transitioning from regional contractual modifiers to a more centralized modification concept with stronger Roush corporate control over the final product.

in the catalog it says they are for 2002 & 2003 applications

I believe that in 1999-2000 the engines where windsors instead of romeo's which means 13 bolt holes verses 11.this might be why the configuration is different.

I think thats the problem, I did not rear that they are for the 02-03 modles. My bad Maybe I can exchange them at RPP
