Cool ROUSH Blown SN95 FNSweeter's!! Looking for a little help!!!!

01-04 Stage 3 and ROUSH S/C owners are being polled.
Can and will you provide us with dyno sheets and build information on you set-up?

Stock, mild mods and heavily modded ...... if you have this broken down by dyno sheets all the better.
What did you put down stock?
What did you put down after a pulley upgrade?
How much did your tuneable CAI and exhaust help the dyno numbers and curve?

These are all questions we would love to see answered as we continue to compile ROUSH era-specific information. We are hoping to build an honest owner sponsored and supported database of proven combinations and components that can yield varying levels of performance. If we do it right it will be the thread to reference for upgrades and changes to the SN95 ROUSH M90 blown SOHC vehicles.

Requested format.
example

Dyno Type

STOCK 335 rwhp 355rwtrq

MODDED: 385 rwhp 388 rwtrq
Mod list:
blah, blah, blah

Remarks:
I really found after the tune and exhaust mod better throttle response and blah .... blah ... blah. Share you impressions in drivability and overall performance after each change.

on a stage3/Rouscharged stock block/stock heads mustang, the best bang for the buck mods (sans nitrous) are as follows:

• 8lb blower pulley
• 90mm MAF housing
• JLT RAM/cold air intake OR Desencharger CAI
• NGK TR6 spark plugs gapped @ .035
• custom dyno tune

any other mod will net minimal hp/tq increases.
those listed above will put the car in the 370-380 + rwhp range

i do not have a baseline pull but i am sure it is similar to other stage 3's.

my mods are as follows for the pull shown below that was done in san antionio tx, temp was 71degrees, humidity 24%.

375 RWHP & 381RWTQ - A/F Ratio was just a tick over 12
ROUSH CAI
JBA shotie ceramic coated headers (noticed better.smoother low end throttle response)
Bassani high flow cat x-pipe
Dyno max catback
3.73 gears and FRPP Aluminum drive shaft
Stock ROUSH tune and 6lb pulley, stock plugs (rated 379hp from ROUSH)

Here is the link, it won't let me put the pic in this thread since its already on the site: http://www.fnsweet.com/forums/genera...n-antonio.html

Since this dyno i am now in LA and have done since:

Dual pass radiator
Dual pass HE
Will do a pull before and then add 8lb pulley for an after effect
May also do a 90MAF and better CAI

You can see my current #s in my sig below. 'Baseline' was 367 rwhp, 370 rwtq with 380 tune, bassani catted x, magnaflow es muffs, roush CAI, cooler plugs. Mods betwen this and pull below: 8lb pulley, K&N FIPK w/large Green cone filter, Bassani mid-lenght headers, new Bassani catted x (with better cats, stainless honeycomb), FRP aluminum DS, and 3.73 gears. Oh yeah, and fnsweet decals on rear quarter windows!

Here are some dyno #'s i posted and the changes I've made.. The 334 pull to the 377 pull was just leaning the car out.. It was pig rich, something like 9.5/10 to 1..

http://www.fnsweet.com/forums/dyno-t...o-session.html

The changes from 377 to 394 were listed... I really wanted to do each individulal change to see what they were worth, but it just wasn't worth the expense to try and do it..

http://www.fnsweet.com/forums/dyno-t...y-upgrade.html

The only things added for this test was the 2.57 pulley, flowmaster mufflers and copper plugs.. 408rwhp and 450rwtq on 93 octane...

So, Mods would be;

90maf
Tunable Induction CAI
Bassani mid length headers
Flowmaster mufflers
2.57 pulley
Bassani x-pipe w/o cats
Autolite copper plugs
Mods in profile..

Hey Smoke, got your PM brotha...sorry for the late response.

The Classic's gone. Never did a baseline so no info. on that. After adding Flowmasters, smaller pulley, and a CAI, she was at 390HP/375TQ @ the wheels.

After I added the SLP X & CAT Back, she was at 402HP/403TQ. Unfortunately and for the life of me, I can't find the FnDyno sheet. I even had to bogart the other dyno from my profile on gotstang.

My 02 Stage 3 rally edition dyno results

First base pull when I first got it was not great at all like 335 RWHP and don't have an electronic copy of the sheet.

Second set after some mods and bored during spring break. Dyno was wide open so the car was a little on the warm side since they pulled me right in. Of course had a couple fans blowing, but it was a perfect day here in texas before SAE correction I put down 388 RWHP and 371 RWTQ. I was surprised the SAE correction took that much away so final result was 377.6 RWHP and 358.3 RWTQ, I don't think that is too bad for an 02 with 2.8 pulley, Tunable CAI, bassani X pipe, and magnapaks.

Plan on doing colder plugs and dyno tune very soon. Hopefully I can get in the 390s or 400. Not sure I am going to go with the headers any time soon because they want like $450 for the install...guess these are a bitch to put on, but you never know the need for speed gets addicting.

Guess I should add mine up here.

First time at the Dyno... for me (car was owned by Roush32go and dyno'd it several times)

397.95 rwhp/ 391.59rwtq

Conditions:
45 degrees 9% humidity

As for Mods:

Smaller Pulley
Shorty headers
Basanni X pipe
3.73's
Magnaflow exhaust
Demolet 100mm CAI
90 mm Lightning MAF
SCT Tune

Dave at Kauffmann's was really impressed with the numbers.... he said he could get more out of it but really didn't feel it was going to be safe.

I did 5 runs total....the first one with the Roush tune the wheels spun and I got 299rwhp and something stupid tq . tried again and did 375.... took the PCM out and we then noticed that Roush "alters" the PCM so you cant add a new chip. But my guy worked around it with the custom tune (SCT) and the next three runs were 390 plus and climbing.

Later on in 2006:

84 degrees 26% Humidity A/F 12.0-11.6 SAE

3 runs

Run 1 401.7 hp 411.1 tq
Run 2 400.1 hp 409.1 tq
Run 3 401.5 hp 410.6 tq

Final numbers

401.1 hp 410.2 tq

Car Mods:
Smaller Pulley
3.73 gears
Shorty headers
Bassani X
Magna flow exhaust
Demolet 100 mm CAI
Lightning 90 mm MAF
SCT Tune
New SC belt
NGK Spark plugs
