    TVS2300 dyno & time slips

Well, I wanted to post my first dyno & time slips. Info: 2007 427R, 4.6L, TVS2300,
lower balancer pully not installed because of no forged internals. 4:10 gears, Detriot locker, Roush driveshaft, spec stage3 clutch, Nitto 555 DR,s at 15psi.
The motor is pushing 10 pounds of boost WOT. Had alot of wheel hop and spin through 3 gears and launched the car at 2000 RPM. Well just wanted to say
WHOOHOOO got it in the 12s at a mile high. I think with some hardware in the back end and a set of slicks I might get it in the 11s. I also wanted to thank JDM
for the great tune and support! Thanks Jim,

This is done with the stock crank pulley, correct? Also what size s/c pulley are you running. Is it stock tvs or different size? Thanks

    New Tune & Dyno #s

Well here are my new dyno numbers compared to the original brand X “Don’t bother us, the tune will be there today in your e- mail, 3 weeks later, there is something wrong with your CAR not my daddy’s tune”. My first tune, “original post” was ok but needed some adjustment for a racing idle at startup, WELL after hearing every excuse in the book for 3 weeks that my tune will be adjusted; it finally WAS with a tune that disabled my car and made it un-drivable! Just beware of who you order your upgrades and tunes from! Now the good news, take a look at the comparison between” brand x” we have the best tune, and Finishline performance, THESE GUYS ROCK DYNO TUNE. These guys do dyno tuning, not mail order tunes. So if you live in or near Colorado give these guys a call for the best dyno tunes in the west. They do SCT and Diablosport tuning and everything else for mustangs, Roush, Saleen, GT500, GTs you name it. They also build fast race cars! Give these guys a call or drop them an e-mail.

Those are some good numbers. I won't say anything about "Brand X" as they are the guys who created my tune after a major FAIL by "Brand Y". As long as your new tune is safe and the car runs well, you will have a big smile on your face. Now, get out there and show us an 11 second pass.

    Bad-ass would be an understatement.

Those are impressive numbers indeed. What is your air/fuel ratio like? I'm sure Roush-A-Roni will have some words of caution for you.

My bet is this bottom end won't last long at those numbers...especially running quarters.

    Damn nice dyno slip though!

    dyno tune

Family man: I will post up air/fuel when I get my next print out and dyno, Ive got some more upgrades comming.
I know im pushing the bottom end, The car makes about 6 to 8 passes a week if that and thats it. I will be upgrading the short block to the JPC RGR 322 block this winter and go from there. In the meantime just getting ready for arns drop live in august. Trying for that 11s run.

Hope you have your fingers crossed every time you are banging gears in that thing.

550 rwhp X 1.15 = 633 flywheel hp. Add approx. 70 to account for driving the supercharger and now you're at approx. 700 hp.

You're kidding yourself if you think the stock connecting rod is going to be reliable at that power level.

Its a different car and my knees were shaking a bit yesterday. Seat of the pants is quite a feeling, made me

    Overboost:
You are absolutely right, Evertime I lineup to race I run that risk and other risks also, If this motor holds till winter then Ill have another spare to build, if not the new shortblock will come sooner than later.

I will post up the next ETs, Hopefully better than the last.

No. I had the bottom end built when the R2300 was installed. I never lost a bottom end.
