    thanks!
    Should be Kershaw...can't type.
Carolina Motorsports Park. Didn't race today. (Double weekend-race Sat and race Sun) Left early at lunch today. Was drizzling when I left "10% chance" going to 70% later in the day. Didn't want to push my luck!
Still happy with 1st ever win. Qualified 3rd, let the guy next to me have the line into 1 as he was in the same class as the 2nd place car in front of him, pole setter broke after 4 laps, Next lap I passed 2 cars for the lead and never got challenged. Pretty cool feeling. I didn't have any crew this weekend, so tried to keep laps in my head. That didn't work because I figured I had done 20-30 laps instead of just 14. Ever time the starter reached up for his headset button, I just knew he was being told last lap. But, Nope. He just stood there. :^)

    Update from last weekend

"start" was on the back straight, so 1st lap reflected tire warming/ weaving. I had told Tom and Jeff in the Spec racer Fords I wouldn't mess up their race by getting between them..
Just sort of happened at the start line, but I "let" Jeff back by going into turn 1 after we clicked the start light. After Allen broke (lap 3), I decided I'd pass both of them if I got a chance, and did (later lap 3).
    Good fun!
Oh, other update. We were race 6 each day. I've got a buddy that was in race 5. He stayed Sunday and said as they pulled into impound at the end of his race (just before race 6 left grid), it started pouring rain. Guess I figured right leaving early. I don't have wipers or defroster in the race car. Couldn't have seen anything with windshield fogging up. ;^)

Fun fun fun... It's so much fun passing another car you are racing. Just the opposite though when they pass you. You start digging a little deeper...

Yes, yes, yes. Much better view at the front. In the A/Sedan car we were "racing" GT-1 Trans-Am type cars, T-1 Vipers and Corvettes, as well as SuperProduction Over 2.5 liter (SPO)/ GTA cars which for the most part are old ASA and NASCAR cars. If you ain't the lead dog, the view never changes......
