For all you ROUSH fans, list your:

    1. Which car do you own - or what ROUSH products do you have for your Mustang?

    2. What do you love most about your ROUSH?

    3. Why did you choose a ROUSH - or ROUSH products?
    (Over a different Mustang)

3a. If you feel like sharing your story how you were introduced to ROUSH or ROUSH Products.

    4. Have you ever tracked your car - if so: How many times on average do you go to the track per year?

    1. Which car do you own - or what ROUSH products do you have for your Mustang?

    2008 427R Trak Pak

    2. What do you love most about your ROUSH?
(Styling/looks, power, handling, racing pedigree, etc...)

Tough question. I love driving it like it was intended on track more than anything else about it. It is sweet in other areas and they are other things I love but there is nothing like 30 minutes driving as hard as you can on track to make me love my car. I have owned a lot of Mustangs but this one is my favorite.

    3. Why did you choose a ROUSH - or ROUSH products?
    (Over a different Mustang)

I looked at and considered several 07-08 GT500's, a 2010 GT500 and a 2012 Boss 302. Those are the only other cars I considered but I did consider modifying my 2007 GT instead. No one builds a road course car like Roush and that was the deciding factor when I considered all options.

3a. If you feel like sharing your story how you were introduced to ROUSH or ROUSH Products.

I have loved Roush for many years being a Ford fan from birth, but it all got serious when I fell in love with hpde events and began my search for my track Mustang.

    4. Have you ever tracked your car - if so: How many times on average do you go to the track per year?

Once for the Roush so far

    I'm on my 3rd Roush.
    1 2006 Stage 3
    2 2008 Trak Pak
    Current 2010 Stage 3

I love that it is fast as h***, that I probably won't see another one like mine, that it gets looks and thumbs up whenever I take it out to name a few.

I chose it because I got a great price and I wanted something that I could mod and not have to worry about blowing it up.

I got the 2006 Stage 3 when I was out looking at 03/04 Cobra verts. They had a red 2006 Stage 3 at one dealer when I went to look at a Cobra. The Cobra was nice, but when I saw the Red Roush I wanted it instead. After seeing the car I went home to do some research on Roush Mustangs. After doign the research and liking what I found I decided I wanted the Roush instead of the Cobra.

When I called the dealer they said they had sold it the day before. Boy was I bummed. I went back a couple weeks later to see if they still had the Cobra. When I got there the salesman told me they had gotten another one in. I asked to see it. After checking it out I took it for a test drive. It kind of scared the s*** out of me because I was driving a 94 GT vert at the time. So there was aroud a 200 hp difference. I was sold. Took it home that weekend.

That's how I got the first one. The next 2 were just upgrades. I have been extremely happy with the 3 I have owned so far. In my opinion they are the best Mustangs on the road.

    The 2006

    The Trak Pak

Well first of all, Hi Billy Johnson!!!
    #1 --- I own a 2005 Roush Mustang Stage 2(Roush power modified)

#2 --- I love all of it. (Styling/looks, power, handling, racing pedigree, etc...)
Mostly because people just stand there with mouths open. The guys look like the kid who just went into the toy store. The girls they smile, and on there face it says, "I'd look gooooood in that!!!"

#3 --- They quality is #1, and the style keeps to the lines of the car very well thought out, and performs the way you would want it to do.

#3a -- In 2005 my Roush mustang being trucked down the hwy on the way to the dealers.
I followed it down to the dealers and bought it on the spot. When you look at cars at car-shows there are some that just reach out to you. This 2005 Roush mustang Stage 2 did just that to me, and I had to have it.
In other reasons on buying this Roush mustang has to do with me being a Millitary Veteran.
I am a Army Combat Desert Storm Veteran, and I still suffer from Severe Post tramatic Stress Disorder(PTSD). With this dissability it was hard for me to get out, and feel I'm back home. So through the car shows, and one look at my Roush mustang it helps in many ways, reminds I'm home.
War affects many, but it affects each person as one. I'll never shed completely the armor I carry, but with my Roush mustang it makes it not so heavy.

#4 --- I have tracked my car both at the track, and at the strip. Not as much as I would like but someday I'll have saved enough money. With more with more parts to put to the test.

    1. Which car do you own - or what ROUSH products do you have for your Mustang? - '08 Roush Trak Pak

    2. What do you love most about your ROUSH? Overall package, and since I bought it used bang for the buck

    3. Why did you choose a ROUSH - or ROUSH products? See Above.

3a. If you feel like sharing your story how you were introduced to ROUSH or ROUSH Products. - I've always been aware of Roush, but I read about the Trak Paks when they came out and always tried to keep tabs on them. I've never been a fan of the 'tuner' Mustangs as IMO they are typically overpriced and loose tons of resale so I never seriously pursued purchasing one until I saw my TP for sale.

    4. Have you ever tracked your car - if so: How many times on average do you go to the track per year? I have not yet. Only had the car since June '11. I plan on doing an event once a month this year. We'll see if work & wifey let me though.

For all you ROUSH fans, list your:

    1. Which car do you own - or what ROUSH products do you have for your Mustang?
2006 Sport convertible with a few extras

    2. What do you love most about your ROUSH?
(Styling/looks, power, handling, racing pedigree, etc...)
Driving it! All of the above. I also love that there are not that many around and people are always asking about it.

    3. Why did you choose a ROUSH - or ROUSH products?
    (Over a different Mustang)
Dumb luck. I wasn't looking for a new car and ran across a Mustang at a car lot I liked and when I called about it the car was sold. For some reason my wife, who had said I didn't need a new car, searched online and found the Roush and said that I should buy it. So I did. She's regretted it ever since, but my daughter sure likes driving it!

3a. If you feel like sharing your story how you were introduced to ROUSH or ROUSH Products.
Knew very little about Roush before the one I have and have been learning ever since.

    4. Have you ever tracked your car - if so: How many times on average do you go to the track per year?
Haven't tracked a t a big track but some smaller ones and more autocross than anything. 2-3 times a year and no straight line tracks.

    1. Which car do you own - 07 427R #554 but this is my 6th mustang

    2. What do you love most about your ROUSH?--- The Roush is one of the best looking S197 mustangs

    3. Why did you choose a ROUSH - or ROUSH products?---- I wanted a car that was "done" and done right, just hop in and drive, maybe a do a few little things but not need a complete overhall to handle well, ride nice and make good power. Plus its not a run of the mill modded GT, this car may hold some value down the road. My 94 has gone through 2 motors in 2 summers and before that I had to cut the whole front end from fire wall forward and replace it due to rust, and I have done so much to the car that it is not fun to drive for more then an hour or so at a time. Being self-employed on call 24/7 finding time to mod a 05-09 GT (that was my original plan for this winter/spring) or even work on my 94 is tough.

3a. If you feel like sharing your story how you were introduced to ROUSH or ROUSH Products---- I wanted a Roush mustang or just the intake and hood back in 94 when I saw a review in MMFF or 5.0. I have been a race fan from the 80s watching Nasscar, SCCA/Trans Am (capris and XR4Tis) and watching Tommy Kendel kick butt in the mid 90s.
    .
    4. Have you ever tracked your car - if so: How many times on average do you go to the track per year?---- I have not had the 427 on the track yet but summer is coming. I usualy make 2-8 events a summer, Its nice having 3 different tracks all about 100 miles or so from the house.

For all you ROUSH fans, list you

    1. Which car do you own- or what ROUSH products do you have for your Mustang?
    2008 427R (Sold)
2012 Hyper Series "Mat It Mango" number 13 of 25

    2. What do you love most about your ROUSH?
I love the looks of them. I looked at a lot of other cars before I bought either one of them.

    3. Why did you choose a ROUSH - or ROUSH products?
When buying the new one I could not find a car that was as good for the same money plus the looks of the Roush. I reall like having something that you do not see on the road. It is nice having something different. The stories I (i am sure as you folks ae well) could tell about people coming up to you and asking about the car.
I take it to car shows and there will be 100 cars there and I have the only Roush.

3a. If you feel like sharing your story how you were introduced to ROUSH or ROUSH Products.
I had heard of them but never saw one. I then started searching on line and was sold in about 2 seconds or was it 1 second?

    4. Have you ever tracked your car- if so: How many times on average do you go to the track per year?
I took the 08 to the dragstrip once

    Lets hear them![/QUOTE]
It is just a weekend toy. I love to take it to car shows and stand away then watch people wonder what it is. A lot of people nevre heard of Roush.

Awesome pics! I was so happy how that race turned out ... finally kicked BMW off the top podium spot .... but those S.O.B.'s did come in 2-7th I think. As I am writing this I am checking my calendar on the wall ... One of the Turner cars is Miss March ... I need to get another calendar!

Careful Billy does drive sometimes a BMW for Turner Motorsports.
But his Roush teammates find him and make sure he's where he belongs.

I think there was a misunderstanding ... when I said sob's I meant to say ... those nice boys over at Turner that gave me this nifty calendar at our 2011 - 2012 NASA awards dinner last month. Turner is a big supporter of NASA.

My buddy's E36 M3 track machine has more Turner parts on it than BMW parts ....

Once again ... sorry for the misunderstanding.

So will there be any Turner or Roush cars at Lime Rock on March 31st? I will be there.
