    HELP Raptor Shift light install

I am trying to install my dual mode Raptor shift light and need a little help. I already have the ground and switched 12v hooked up. Most of the threads here say just to tap into any coil and it will be fine. My car is an 08 stage 3 and on my coil I have a solid red and a solid white wire. Which one of these do I hook into? Then for the launch control it wants me to tap into a wire in the PCM. does anyone know what color wire I tap into on the coil and maybe pics of the wire I tap into on the PCM? Any help is appreciated!

I'm following along; I am adding an AutoMeter #7388 Level 2 NV series Digital Pro light this month. If I beat you to it, I'll take pics and post colors.

I have the Raptor ... but not with launch control. I am sure Dimora will figure it out. (with pictures I am sure) I can't wait to hear how the launch control works on the Raptor.

I read to use the #8 coil pack white with red stripe on another forum. Is that the one you used? Obviously you can use an coil pack, but #8 makes sense since it is proximate to the driver's side firewall.

Here...TacoBill has you covered. He is as sick as I am, and I seldom duplicate his work since he does such a nice job - although he does not cover the launch mode you speak of. Does your light have 3 or 4 wires?

that is the wire I spliced into. It does have 4 wires. I still cant get the launch mode to work. I tapped into the wire on the PCM according to the Raptor instructions, and it still doesnt work? At least the sift part of it works

Behind the dimmer rheostat on the driver's side light controls is a black wire with a white stripe - that is the variable brightness wire - I used that to power my mechanical boost gauge lighting. In that same area is a ground location where the Roush fog light switch is grounded - I used that for the ground for my shift light, as well as the ground for the back-lighting on my boost gauge.

Then, I ran the shift light / tach trigger wire from my AutoMeter shift light through the rubber grommet in the same area where Roush ran the Roush fog-light wires (driver's side lower firewall area) as well as my nylon boost line (ran them together - taped the trigger wire and the boost tube together with electrical tape and popped them through all at once).

I tapped the switched radio harness +12V wire for my on/off power for the shift light.

So...all I have to do is tap my ignition coil trigger wire into a white with red stripe coil wire (on any coil) and I am essentially done. I have an AeroForce Interceptor on the way - is its only hook-up the OBD-II plug?
