V6 ATI ProCharger?

Just curious, I read up on the V6 procharger from ATI inc. It supposedly creates enough power to blow a GT away. It costs about $4G's but does anyone have one or know someone that does, I'm thinking about bolting it on but would it be worth it? A Camarro just wasted me today and I felt like sh#!.

Oh and by any chance Chandler, AZ do you remember who you spoke with at the dealership about replacements of the stickers? I bought mine at Earnhardts in Chandler and want to replace my corroding stickers too. Thanks, maybe we can meet up sometime and go cruise if you're into it. Let me know man, later.

Don't mean to pee on your birthday cake, but boosting a V6 will barely get you up to GT numbers, and you will still be a few steps behind the Camaro.

Not trying to down the V6 or anything, but putting that kind of money into it to barely get it up to stock GT numbers may not be too wise. You will be able to stomp somebody that just drove off the lot, but you will have a fight on your hands if they just drop a K&N in there.

Far be it from me to say "don't mod". Just want to be realistic. You can have a quick V6 - just don't think you will be real competitive with the F-bodies.

I have a copy of 5.0 Mustang & Super Ford, and the 99 up ATI supercharged V6 makes 267 rwhp (roughly 30 more than a GT), and 275 rwtq. That was only with 8lb. of boost. You will have the hp., but not the torque. Torque is what you need off the line. It would be an interesting race though. The V6 is a bit lighter in the front too. Hmmm!

Ok guys so i have a 96 v6 that i use for a daily driver right... well my roush isnt compeltely done yet so i am still driveing around in the v6 day to day... and a week ago some new WS6 was driving beside me and the passanger was holding up his hands yelling ... 6 6 6 6 6 6 6,,, POS ford,, 66666666,, POS.. God that pissed me off.. cause i know i have a great blue oval at home right... anyway.. i just pushed that off... then this weekend some kid was doing the same thing to me... only this time guess what he was driving ... A FN HONDA... i stoped at a light and he just kept yelling at me.. 6 6 6 6... I rolled down the window and just screamed at him.... AT LEAST ITS DOMESTIC YOU DUMB HIGHSCHOOL BITCH> AND OH YEA>> YOU DRIVE A 4 CYL.. DO SHUT UP>.. he wanted to race to show me how strong the vtech power was,,, corse i smoked his ass but it still pisses me off...


Guess what i really wanted to do is vent.. thanks guys...

hmm.. v6 wasting near-stock 5.0's - thatd be kinda amusing, altho 4gs is a lot to drop.
