NX Gen2 Kit Installed

I got the Kit installed except the F-N Purge Kit. The screw would not come out of the N2O Solenoid. This is the second Solenoid I have bought. The first one they told me to try a screw extractor. That didn't work and left the Solenoid useless. So I picked up another today. It wouldn't budge either. I didn't want to F it up. So I decided to leave it until NX fixes my other one. Damn that sucks. Oh well, the kit is F-N Awesome! I wish I had the window switch. It hasn't arrived yet. As soon as I hit WOT that baby jerks. It is FNSweet!!! Now I kinda know what it feels like to be in a S3.

I will take pics after I get the Purge Kit installed.

I had my Jerry Custom Flip Chip re-burned by Dmann who I met over at StangNet. He did an excellent job. Joseph at CustomChip.com did the first chip. My speedo was definitely off and he would not communicate with me. It took Joseph about a month to deliver my chip. It took DMann 3 days to get me my new Flip Chip with tuning for 91+ Octane on one side and N2O on the other. I highly recommend him at RFF Performance.

I want to get it to a dyno this weekend. I found a local shop that dynos for $65 for a power check plus an additional $65 for A/F ratio. So I am looking at $130. I want to send the results to DMann to have Jerry take a look. Maybe get a little mail order tweak done...

I will get some preliminary pics this week yet. I still have the Purge Kit to get in there. I am thinking about doing a NOS workaround and setting up the Purge before the N2O solenoid. It is better than no Purge...

DS - I started with the 75 shot nozzles. I read that I should be able to go with 100 shot with no issues especially with a somewhat tuned chip for N2O. I might give it a try down the road. I saw no detonation whatsoever last night or this morning.

Hey fry - LOOKS INCREDIBLE MAN! Question for ya..... where did you get those switches?! the chrome with the red LED on top..... Make a long story short.... those are the switches that came with Rally Racing Fog lights (Cheap-o brand fog lights from Pep-Boys) and I boguht a pair a long time ago, and put them on my car.... then they broke, but I kept the switch cause I liked it.... .then on the new car, I used that switch for an accessory in the mustang, but I needed another switch just like it for a diff. accessory (keep everything the same - same switches, for looks) so I went to pep-boys, and "borrowed" one from them, but ever since I can't find another one! I need 2 more for 2 more accessories (radar detector and another accessory) and I would LOVE to find 2 more of them to make it all look nice, but I haven't foudn them anywhere! I've searched all over the place on the internet, and stores around me, asked and it's called a "Bullit style" switch or something like that, and they supposedly went out of business..... hopefully you can help me out here..... thanks man!

Final cost would of been: ~$900. I love the Remote Bottle Opener!!!

Mustang-x.com has a sweet price on NX products. Jorge is a stand-up guy. But NX had a problem with their screw in the N2O solenoid. I got confirmation yesterday that they are going to start shipping the N2O solenoid with the screw outside of the solenoid. What a great idea!!!

I ended up drilling the first solenoid out (sent it into NX). Couldn't wait, so I bout another at a local shop for $130 (high price). That screw wouldn't come out either, so I left it in. I am going to install the Purge in front of it until NX fixes my first Solenoid. But I probably wasted another $40 in screw extractors and crap for that first one. I bought the two chrome switches at WALMART! They were at PepBoys and Autozone but at least $1 cheaper at WALMART!!!

So check there JSork25. I love the look of them but they come with a flimsy ass plastic nut. So it doesn't fit tight. I replaced the first switch with a chrome plastic nut that I had laying around. It fits a lot better. I am going to try to find another for the Heater.

I up'd the Shot from 75HP to 100HP. AWESOME!!! Next is the Purge kit install!!!! I need to find a place to mount the Purge button. I am running out of realestate...
