    What size are my injectors?

I was just curious what size my injectors are. I know you guys can probably tell me easier than I can research it. They are a bright fluorescent orange. Thanks for the help!

Well, I must say, "I've never been asked what size my injector is" Most of us know what size we have I know the stage III has a big one By the way, the stage three has 36# injectors.

I am pretty sure the stock size for the GT is 19lbs/hr. The Stage 3 has a blue top injector, which I am pretty sure is the 24lbs/hr size - I could be wrong.

Spoke with Russ at Roush perf and he looked up in his magic book for the stage 3 and he told me blue = 36#.
    I'll call back and verify.

If I have 19# injectors, is that adequate for my current mods including the Bullitt?

I was also under the impression that our injectors were 24 lbs. I remember thinking, "man, my naturally aspirated Cobra had 24 lb. injectors, is that enough for a supercharged car?" Roush must have made up for the size with a larger fuel pump and better tuning. That is, if we're right about the size.

the blue Ford Motor Sport injectors == 36#

    greentops are 42#..

i belive the GTs have 24#'ers, which is probabaly ok-but low for you bob - but until youve got your blower, you should be fine - as soon as you get teh blower, some 42#'ers are calling your name

I believe all N/A GT engines, including Stage 2's have 19 lb. injectors, while the Stage 3 cars come with 24 lb. injectors. Why doesn't someone just call Ford and Roush tomorrow and find out for sure.

Hey Memphis, I told you that the stage 3 has 36# injectors. I already called and verified. They are dark blue and the dark blue are 36#.
I don't know exactly what your problem is, but you seem to take some effort to counterdict whatever I mention.
You haven't been correct yet on your rebuttals, but I have just overlooked.
I respect others opinions and fact finding here on the forum, you should too.

Well Roush32go what does the GT have, 24#? All I know is before I put a s/c on mine there will be 42#'s on there! Not to mention forged pistons.

    Roush32go,
No problem here. Not trying to "contradict whatever you mention", just repeating what I have been told twice by a Roush rep, and what's listed in Steeda's catalog. That's 2 sources that I have for what I stated. Certainly not trying to affend you, so sorry if you feel that way. There's always a chance that my 2 sources are wrong, which is exactly why I stated "why doesn't someone just call Ford and Roush tomorrow and find out for sure"! All I want to know is the truth. Do you not want me to state what I believe to be true, just because you disagree?
Can you PLEASE give me examples on the "incorrect rebuttals" that you're talking about? I'm always happy to be corrected with facts!

I have searched the web so damn much for a sizing chart, and come up short each time. Here is what I have deduced from much searching and asking -

    19# = orange top
    24# = light blue top
    30# = red top
36# = dark blue top, or black/silver, or whole body off white and very thin
42# = bright floro green top

Although I did not find any pics of the 36# injectors, it seems to me that the S3s have a dark blue color to them. I don't think I would call them light blue.

That's what I was told, "the stage 3's have 36# injectors" and verified by Roush Perf parts guys as being dark blue in color.

I just checked the official Roush Stage 3 brochure that I received with my car and it says "Bosch fuel injectors". I also checked Motor Trend's write up of the S3 and it says "upgraded Bosch fuel injectors". What gives with the Bosch thing? Do they make the Ford injectors, or did Roush source them out? I guess if the Roush parts department said 36# then that's probably what we should believe, huh? Peace, Roush32go!

From what I have found, Bosch sources all of the Ford injectors.
