    Indiglo or white face gauges

I've been thinking about getting some indiglo or white face gauges for my Roush. I would appreciate any info. Are they hard to install? What kind should I get, indiglo or white face? Any brand better than the others? Any unforseen problems that anybody may have had with them?
Again, any info would be greatly appreciated.

About 3-4 of us bought some custom indiglo gauges from SpeedHut. You can see pictures of them in my signature. They are easy to install... Do a search on speedhut or indiglo for more information...

Thanks for all the info. I didn't know that anybody customized gauges. I think I'm going to go with some indiglo ones with red flames. My car is mostly red, black, and metallic. They should go good with my car. Kinda of high on prices at SpeedHut, but worth it, I guess.
How long does it take to install?

Thanks for the pictures (fryjr & mln385) Picture looks real good, especially the one at night, mln385. Did you install your's, or did it come with those white face gauges?

Prices are higher but they custom make them. I was the first to get the Roush logo on it. They cost me additional than the others... Now that they have a template, it was cheaper for the others.

Not long at all. I had to pull up a couple needles with a salad fork but that was about it. Oh yeah, the light knob is a biatch to get off.... It takes about an hour for newbies but I could do it in about 15 minutes after changing mine out a couple times.

    Cool

I installed mine last weekend and it took about an hour just take your time and pay attention also when readjusting on the white face if need be with needles make sure you put a piece of cardbaord or something to that effect or you will mar the coating. I found this out the hard way ,not really noticable but I no it is their. Go to the website I told you about it was real helpful. Just put my stage II bra on today makes the car look real mean, but I still prefer the a-natural look just not feasable for my roads in new england . Car gets alot of pebble nicks from roads.

Thanks for all the help guys. I'll probably order a gauge kit soon. As I am going to enter it in a car show in Shreveport, Louisiana at the end of the month. Oh yeah, I had to order a bra. After seeing to many chips on my front ground effect. Hell, I live in REDNECK heaven All the trucks around here throw up crap and plus all of the bugs around here will wear out a car's paint job in no time.
    Again thanks for the info.

    Thumbs up stage II bra

I feel your pain dude ,I just put mine on yesterday wasn't that hard but leave it in the sun for a while to soften it up and take wrinkles out. I think it gives my car a little more attitude I think it looks meaner. But I still like it better without just don't want to paint the front every year

    Talking stage II bra

Yeah, I put mine on several months ago. Didn't let it sit in the sun like they recommended. But it fit pretty well. I started to fit better after I left it on there for a few weeks. I had readjust a lot of it. Only thing I didn't like about it was those damn velcro adhesives that you have to stick in the engine compartment above the headlights. I've got it off right now, I spent 3 hours cleaning it in this 90 degree temperature with a humidity of 100%. I can tell where the bra has been rubbing against the paint. I pretty sure some ZAINOs will take care of that. And that's better than those damn white chip marks (my ROUSH is black).
    OH WELL.

    stage II bra

Yeah, it rubbed in quite a few places. Nothing really bad. Without going out to my car right now, I can tell you that it kind of rubbed around some corners. For example: where the front bumper curves around to the side of the car. Also be careful with those damn things that you slide up under and around the headlights. I've got a few scratches from those things. And the little piece that slides up under the grill, I got quite a few scratches from that thing also. Not much you can do about it, I guess you could put some protroleum jelly (vaseline) or something in those spots when you put it on. But mainly you have to keep that front end clean every time you put in on.

I think grumpy's hanging a little too low today phishy needs a wonder bra now...

as far as my input on wfc, I have the roush overlays, and the warning lights are not an exact match for the one that came out of my 2000 vert, so, the light that has been on, currently says "Check Fuel Cap" is ACTUALLY the "Radiator" symbol, so uhhh, no wonder Ford couldn't figure out my problem, looking in wrong spot Just my $0.02, I like them, but beware the warning lights might be different, just make sure you know what they mean really.

Hey Roush2960, I've seen the ones on eBay. They're pretty nice for the price. I was originally going to get some off of eBay. But after going to SpeedHut and seeing their designs, I'm considering paying their high prices for a custom gauge set. The kind with red flames on it. But again their prices are more than what I was planning on paying for indiglo gauges. I've got to hurry and get some though, planning on entering my car in a show at the end of the month.
