    how do i fix it?

i was on my way home from mcdonald's last night and got into a little accident. . the rear end started tailing and wouldn't stop. i tried to stop and straighten out but couldn't before i went up a curb. got out of the car and cheched everything and nothing appears to be wrong with. NO BODY DAMAGE AT ALL. it was one of those curbs that stick straight up too. front end is fine, wheels don't have a single stratch which amazes me. the only thing that i found was a goose egg in the left rear tire.
here's my question, is there any way to get rid of the goose egg with out getting a new tire? is the tire safe to drive on? i'm going to take it to the dealership later and see is there is anything else wrong with the car.

Are you talking a dimple/bubble in tire??

If so then it is a blow out waiting to happen. Get it changed if you can feel it while driving. LOL

    ./Matt

I know tires are expensive for our cars but the car is more expensive.

Replace the tire asap! Like Matt said it is just a blow out waiting to happen. What happens is the steel belts in the tire slip and the air pushes out creating the goose egg. As soon as the bubble comes in contact with anything that has a minor sharpness to it, then boom a blow out can occur.

You might find a good deal on one at TIRE RACK. Not sure of their web address. I usually get a catalog every 6 monts. They have the best deals that I have seen on tires if you need one quickly.

Jason are you looking at fronts or rears...Fronts are way cheaper.

I went with KUMHO's and they are good tires. www.tirerack.com has them for $157.00 a tire. See if the local tire chain-store will price match. Mine did....LOL

got the car back and it's almost good as new. i took it in around noon and got it back a little after 4. it took them a while to get to my car cuz i didn't have an appointment and they had to have the tire delivered to them. they usually treat me really well because my dad knows the owner of the dealership.

I'm glad to see that you are up and running again! Trust me it is worth the $335 now. Instead a new rim and new tire.
Are you still coming to the show, on the 10th? Buy the way we are going to KCIR on Wed. night if you can come that would be great!

    found more damage

as i was drying the car off i noticed that part of the rear bumper on the driver's side was a little separated. i look inside the wheel well and noticed that the screws were broken. i also noticed that part of the rear valence at the base of the wheel well was chipped. so now it looks like i might need a new bumper and rear valence. everything else on the car appears to be fine.

The screws can probley be replaced on the valence can more then likly be fixed cheaper then replaceing it. Get an quote on how muck to fix and paint, and the look around and see how much this that one piece is (plus the cost of paint). www.speedworx.com is about the cheapest place I have found roush parts.

You trun right on to Nolan Rd. and just go straight. It will look like you are going out into the country...and KCIR is on the left hand side. Ask Xcler8 or Kane they can give you better directions.
