    MAF and X-pipe?

What is a MAF? I did a search but it says I need more letters. Is the X-pipe a whole unit or just a point that replaces the junction of the pipes on the stock Roush exhaust? What are the performance gains\losses of the two? Man, I gotta find a place that'll do all this crap for me.

    MAF=
    Mass Air Flow sensor..

X-Pipes come in a couple of diffrent ways. But they are direct replacment unit for your stock H-pipe. The tube size diffrence will impress the hell out of you....

    Welcome aboard shanker...

Man, I've got a lot to learn. Is the X-pipe just a sound difference? Another question, what is a throttle body and what does it do? A friend looked at mine and he said it looked small to and a bigger one will give a performance increase but he doesn't know Fords very well. Anything you guys can add? Thanks for the responses to all of my posts

    OK...

    The X-pipe or H-pipe first.

The aftermarket Pipes are larger in Tube diameter then stock and there are only two large cats instead of 4 small stockers.

    The TB( Throttle Bottle )

this is like the old butterflies on the carb's. They help manage the amount of air flow into the motor. A larger TB will allow the motor to gulp hugh amounts of air. These are nice to get bigger ones but match them with little bigger fuel injectors.

    I am looking into:

70MM TB and 24Lbs injector for my car. But I have done other mods first before more power.

My thought.....Make it handle and stop before you make it go faster. LOL
