you can use a wheel spacer on the front, no problem.
just make sure you buy a reputable brand and make sure the wheel spacer is hub centric. i think the general consensus is that you can go up to 3/8" without having to swap wheel studs, BUT, for your added peace of mind, you might want to replace the wheel studs with longer studs. i'm not sure how wide of a spacer you would need or even want for the front, but with the Alcons + Roush wheels, the clearance between the wheel spokes and the caliper is only like 5mm. if your BBS wheels are close (like you said), then perhaps a 5-10mm spacer would work 5mm = .19 inches 10mm = .39inches moving a wheel out .19 inches is probably not going to be noticeable I have 1" hubcentric wheel spacers on the back of my stage3. the brand is H&R. the 1" spacers come with their own wheel studs. I have done numerous burn outs, 4 all day road course events and put approximately 15k miles on them with no problems whatsoever. DRS series http://www.hrsprings.com/products/trak/ |
