Stock SVT Cobra Supercharger?

I need some expert advice,

Has anybody ever tried putting a stock Supercharger from a SVT Cobra 4.6 4v onto a 4.6 2v? Can it be done and what will need to be changed?

THis has been discussed before...search for it. I believe it was ruled that the conversion for that would be much more work and cost much more than just adding a KB.

Cool

An adapter plate would be required, and a lot of other things ..... cost prohibitive, as a project. If someone fashions a kit ... that could sell.
But, it would have to be inexpensive like the available stock superchargers.

For the amount of work and custom parts needed it would NOT be worth the trouble. You can get a Vortech kit brand new relatively cheep.

Thanks! That's more of the answer I was looking for. I have a chance to buy a stock Cobra supercharger and TB for $500 and was wondering if it would be worth it to try and use it on my car.

No but it would be for my 01 Cobra engine. Does that include the upper and lower intake?

My favorite quote.

Innrkid says...
"I would rather jab an ice pick in my temple while pleasuring myself with a cheese grater preparing to dive into a pool of rubbing alcohol filled with razor blades than put up with more of this crap........"

I think it is just for the supercharger and TB. It belongs to a friend of mine who just sold his 03 Cobra and now wants to get rid of the extra parts he has for it. The SC and TB have 1800 miles on them.

Keep shopping around if you do get one. $500 is over priced for an M112 now. I'll sell you my extra for less than that with a 2.76" pulley already on it.
