Apex Mod Trip #1

Had some work done to the Roush Cobra for the upcoming two day open track event at ThunderHill. It was an interesting, and long trip, but a good one in the end. So, here's what I had done:
  • Griggs In-floor Subframe Connectors
  • Maximum Motorsports Coil-Over Kit (front and rear)
  • Maximum Motorsports K-Member Brace
  • Kenny Brown Heavy Duty Rear Shock Tower Brace
  • Offset Steering Rack Bushings
  • Install Harnesses
So, here are some pics...

Neat additions Darren...have you gotten to drive it yet? If so, post up your opinion of the different feel with the Coil-overs & how the Griggs feels in the twisties. Congrats!

Yeah - How does it feel?? What made you go with coil overs? I've got the welded in MM FLSFCs, which made a great improvement over stock stability and flex.

It feels great, really haven't been able to push it too hard yet (trying to stay legal), but will really push it this weekend at the open track event. I did push it coming down the summit a little, and was truly impressive taking some of those 45-50mph turns at 80-85mph and still feeling like the car had more capability in it.

Choice for coil-overs was simplicity and adjustability, specifically the spring rate and ride height. I'll definitely be posting up more about the mods after the track event
