Paint For Axle Tubes/Diff Cover

What should I use to paint my axle tubes and diff cover, I am tired of the stock rust! Any prep hints or suggestions would be helpful as well.

When I had my '04 Mach1 I just used black rustoleum spray paint. I used steel wool to clean things up and then cleaned everything off with brake cleaner. Once that was all dry I taped and papered off everything so it wouldn't get any overspray on anything.

I painted mine with a can of "high heat" spray paint from advance. The 500 degree one. Not sure why I picked it but that was what I went with.

Cleaned it real well and sprayed it up!
