    AUTOMETER pro-shift lite question...HELP!!!

    I have a AUTOMETER Pro-shift lite...w/ rpm pills...can anyone provide me pictures of where they installed the red, black and green wires at in their mustangs...and tell me where it is located?? does it work good there, when you reach the rpm pill limit..does your shift lite blink?? thanks for the help...

    I believe they have installation instructions on their web site. Normally the red goes to a switch hot source (on with ignition), black is ground, and green goes to a tach adapter output. You can't directly connect the green to the computer. A box is needed to translate the computer signal into something the tach light can use.

    yep exactaly what 2001 S3 #92 said.. get a tach adapter box@ http://www.ponyexpressperformance.com or some place like that, if i recall there about $100 bux


    ..nope, its come down - $52 bucks now.
