That is one of the coolest vids ever. I will never sell my 02, but damn that makes we wish I could afford another car payment! 10k more and it loses fairly significantly. Later

Just what we always knew though lol. I wonder how the stage 3 would fair in this all. I have only run one newer Saleen and pulled over a car and a half on him before shutting it down. He claimed to have missed a shift, but now Im thinking he just may have missed the boat.

Hummm, Saleen costs more but isn't as fast.I wonder if the Saleen hp ratings are correct? Is it the 20" wheels that slow it down?
I still like both but would buy the Roush first due to the price and looks.
I would like to see more then one lap average on both cars to really see the data difference.

That was a great video, I just recently purchased a 08 gt vert that the dealer installed a Roush supercharger on it and light bar and they are going to be installing a roush front clip and rear spoiler. I can't wait to start driving the car.

Great video...

Alot of stuff he says makes sense... I think the biggest problem with the Saleen is it is on 20" wheels. They both have the similar brake systems made by Stoptech. The 20" wheels really kill the performance of the S281sc

Where it was filmed is my favorite track to drive on.. Thunderhill

Figured as much too Great to see them finally do a head-to-head. Pretty funny about the HP #'s and weights as well. Don't get me wrong, the Saleen is a nice car, and looks good... but I'll stick with Roush

Sheesh,

If the 427R can hold its own. I am in agreement with others here that a Stage 3 or Trak Pak should widen that performance gap a whole lot.

Isn't the 427R a stripped down S3? No rear bumper, seats, etc? The Trakpak would probably demolish the S281 on a course.

Now they just need to do a head-to-head with the P51 and the S281E...
