My 427R at Spring Mountain Race Track

Here is a clip from when I took the car to Spring Mountain in Pahrump in Nevada for two days of road track driving instruction with Racing Adventures a few months ago. I used my 427R on day 1 and then beat the heck out of one of their Cobra 427 kits cars on day 2.

If you haven't road tracked your car yet, what are you waiting for! It's the most fun you can have with your clothes on!

Having fun with the 427R.

Click Play twice the first time you play it.

Yeah, I know, I missed the apex of the turn by a mile...

I would love to do it but I am afraid that my insurance company will have issues..... I dont really want to raise the question....

Open Track is great. You need to do it at least once. As for insurance, if the open track program is advertised as a performance driving program, most insurance companies will cover you as long as you are not racing, doing time trials (don't time yourself) or exhibition. It is a performance driving program that the insurance company should embrace because it will make you a better, safer driver on the street. Check into it...

I just did my first open track yesterday with some of the other local ROEA members. It was an absolute blast on a 1.3 mile winding road course that simulates a mountain road. The class was brief with a couple of lead and follow sessions to get the hang of the course and then on to some hot laps. I cant believe how much is actually built into these cars. Nothing like having 12 Roushcharged cars ramping up and hitting the course all together. The sound is just phenomenal.

I have to totally agree, if anyone has not done it, its an absolute must. These cars were built for this and they can handle it!!!!

I paid $798.00 for Day 1 level 1 & Day 2 Level 2. Then I paid some more while I was there to drive their car on day 2.

Racing Adventures travels the country renting tack time to give training.

Spring Mountain Motorsports Ranch in Pahrump, NV is one place Racing Adeventures offers drver training.
