Disaster at the Road Course!!

Raining and high priced race cars do not mix without their rain tires on.

That is crazy That is why they tell you in the drivers meeting to stay in your car if you get off course until a caution

Wow that's an expensive train wreck of fine race cars...shame. Glad no one got hurt because there was a lot of chance for it.

man that is really crazy, especially since that wasn't even part of the racing surface. That was the runoff area for the chicane (sp?). I bet the Saleen guys are real happy.

I would love to see that. You can't stay on the course even when it's dry outside lol

I was wondering the same thing. Why didn't they stop for the weather to clear?? HUGE unnecessary loss of some beautiful cars

That is wild. I love how the commentator said that the guys in the cars aren't drivers....just passengers.

Loved watching all the cars out in the distance spinning out in the grass. LMAO at losing control while going in a straight line. I hate watching these races in the rain because someone always gets hurt or lots of damage occurs.

First race I ever won was in the pouring rain at Moroso. The only time the stewards will stop it is if there is standing water on the track. We are not talking NASCAR here.
