This is a project I did over about 3 months. There was way too
much to do a How To, as there are so many variables and customizations,
based on individual preference.
I used a Steeda
Battery Relocation Kit and found it pretty complete. I fabricated
a top from Lexan I purchased from Tap Plastics. I also used a Lightning
Audio fuse, terminal tops, and distribution block in the engine
compartment, as well as a Phoenix Gold circuit breaker (simply to
cut power easily). I replaced the stock battery with an Optima Yellow
Top battery.
I ran the 2 gauge wire through the inside of the car, but under
the car is an option. For the ground, I bolted the terminal wire
to the trunk and connected a strap from that to the chassis.
