I decided early on that my Stock Stage 3 was far too quiet. Instead
of being smart and waiting for Roush to release a system, I decided
to make a Stage 2 exhaust system fit. This was a mistake since the
S2 exhaust was designed for different tips and side skirts. Not
to be hindered with reasonable decisions, I went forth with the
modification.
I found an exhaust shop to flare the tail pipe ends to accept the
forged aluminum tips, and also had them do a little bending of the
pipes to get them to fit a bit better.
Below are some pics I took of the differences between the systems.
