After getting my new car, I went out of town for a few days, so it wasn't until the sixth day that I had it before I washed it for the first time! I applied the first of many coats of Zaino - first a wash with Dawn to get the dealer crap wax off of it, then a coat of Z1. While I was letting that dry, I installed my first mod - a K&N air filter. I had the filter laying around, so I made a bracket and installed the filter. After that, I applied a coat of Z2.

I noticed a little difference with the K&N. It was a little louder at idle, and at WOT, it sounded, well, strange. It sounds like a giant vacuum cleaner. The blower whine is a little louder, and the exhaust is a little louder, but there is a major sucking sound. Not sure if I like it. I will continue to experiment. I miss the rumble of my Stage 2, but this one is so incredible to drive. Way fun.
