On August 31, 2002, Jack Roush introduced
his newest offering in his celebrated line up of
cars - the Jack Roush Classic. This special edition
Roush Mustang - of which only 50 will be built -
was designed according to Jack's specifications
following the success of the Stage 3 and Roush 360R.
The car, which is reported to start
Job 1 on October 1, 2002, packs 20 more horsepower
than the previous two supercharged Roush Mustang
models. Along with 380 horsepower, the car includes
all of the Roush treatments that are special to
Jack including the hood and front fascia used on
the Stage 3 and 360R. The car will be equipped with
rear-exit exhaust, 17" wheels, Roush rear wing,
and stock GT suspension. Jack said that the stock
suspension would be used to ensure a smooth, comfortable
ride.
The interior will be treated with
Jack Roush signature leather seats, signature gauge
cluster, Roush aluminum pedals, and the new Jack
Roush-designed shift lever/boot/knob combo.
The Jack Roush Classic is said to
be priced in the low $40k's. fnsweet.com will post
more pictures and the official Roush press release
when it is available.
Special thanks to MaBarker for pictures
